Cicek Cavdar

Cicek Cavdar is an Associate Professor, leading a research group on Intelligent Network Systems at the School of EECS at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. She finished her Ph.D studies in Computer Science, University of California, Davis and in Istanbul Technical University, Turkey in 2009. After her PhD, she worked as an Assistant Professor in Computer Engineering Department, Istanbul Technical University. She served as symposium chair of IEEE ICC 2017 (GCSN), held in Paris. She has chaired several workshops on green mobile broadband technologies and Green Mobile Networks last ten years co-located with IEEE ICC and Globecom. She had leading roles in several European projects in the areas of aerial communications and green networks such as EU EIT Digital projects “5GrEEn: Towards Green 5G Mobile Networks” and “Seamless Direct Air to Ground Communications (DA2GC) in Europe- ICARO-EU”. 2015-2018, she served as the leader of Swedish cluster for the EU Celtic Plus project SooGREEN “Service Oriented Optimization of Green Mobile Networks“, and from 2018 she has the same role in the EU Celtic Plus project AI4Green “Artificial Intelligence for Green Mobile Networks”. Her research interests include design and analysis of telecommunication networks with focus on beyond 5G mobile networks, edge/cloud computing, big data in the network, URLLC, energy efficiency, and AI assisted mobile networks. She is the technical coordinator of EU Celtic-Next 6G-SKY – 6G for Connected Sky project which has started recently.

Mustafa Ozger

Mustafa Özger received his B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2011, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and electronics engineering from Koc University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2013 and 2017, respectively. Currently, he is a researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. His research interests include wireless communications and networking.

Aunas Manzoor

Aunas Manzoor received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering, with a specialization in telecommunication, from the National University of Science and Technology, Pakistan, in 2015. He received the Ph.D. degree with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Kyung Hee University, South Korea, in 2021. He worked as a post doctoral researcher at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Kyung Hee University, South Korea, in 2022. He is currently a post doctoral researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. His research interests include applying analytical techniques for resource management in mobile cellular networks.

Aunas Manzoor received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering, with a specialization in telecommunication, from the National University of Science and Technology, Pakistan, in 2015. Zinat Behdad

Zinat Behdad is currently a PhD student at the School of EECS at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. She received an M.S. degree in electrical engineering and telecommunications from Isfahan University of Technology, Iran, in 2017. Her research focuses on integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) in cell-free massive MIMO networks.

Zhenyu Li

Zhenyu Li obtained his bachelor’s degree from Xidian University, Xi’an China 2021, and his master’s degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden 2023. He is currently a PhD student at KTH. Currently, he is focusing on the design of wireless networks with the assistance of reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs), and the management of the resources in the RIS-assisted network in order to meet the requirements of various communication scenarios.

Irshad A. Meer

Irshad A. Meer is presently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Division of Communication Systems at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. He earned his master’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Politecnico Di Milano, Milan, Italy, in 2019, following a B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar, India, in 2014. His research focuses on the application of machine learning in wireless communication.

Satya Seeram

Siva Satya Sri Ganesh Seeram received his B.Tech. degree in Electrical and Communications engineering (ECE) from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kerala, India, in 2021, and his Masters degree in Communication systems from KTH Royal Institute of Technolgy, Stockholm, Sweden, in 2022. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. with the Communication Systems Department at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. His research focuses on the application of wireless communications to non-terrestrial networks to achieve ubiquitous coverage.

Qichen Wang

Qichen Wang attained his bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Information Engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Nanjing, China, in 2019. Subsequently, he earned his master’s degree in Telecommunication Networks from Northeastern University, Boston, United States, in 2022. Presently, he is actively pursuing a Ph.D. degree within the Division of Communication Systems at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. At present, his focus in research encompasses the application of artificial intelligence in wireless networks.
